Week 24: Worship God from morning to night.

Do you feel God is with you all day? Can you imagine holding His hand as He is walking with you, even in the hard times? Worshiping God every day has been an incredible experience for me. I feel closer to Him, and He is more personal to me. When I missed days of worship because I was focused on the busyness of life, I felt more stressed and anxious. But when I focus on an attribute of God, I feel so much peace and joy. I am reminded of Romans 15:13, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Being focused on God gives me hope and peace, how about you?

This week’s worship focus is about praising God all day, “from the rising of the sun to its setting.” Psalm 113:1-3 states, “Praise the LORD! Praise, O servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD! 2Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and forevermore! 3From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the LORD is to be praised!” Does praising God all day sound impossible? One way to praise God all day is to write the worship verse down and take time throughout the day to look over the verse and meditate on it. Another way to spend all day worshiping God is to maintain an attitude of prayer all day (1Thes. 5:17). I have begun singing praises throughout the day. Please leave a comment to share how you praise God all day.

As you take time each day to meditate on this week’s worship Scriptures, write them down. You have my permission to copy and paste the daily worship scriptures to a Word document to take with you so you can meditate on them throughout the day.

  1. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.
The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

  2. I live in a rural community and as the sun peeks through the darkness, the birds sing so cheerfully and loudly that I believe it’s praise to God. A wonderful start to the day. No inhibition, as you said, at all.
